Deer Forest Sacred Tree

The Lulin Sacred Tree is hidden about 40 meters below the 102km mark of Provincial Highway 18. Due to its location on a steep cliff, it was discovered very late. It is about 2,700 years old, which means it was born around the Zhou Dynasty in China. It is currently the second most important sacred tree in Taiwan, after the Daxueshan Sacred Tree.
