Dongpu Mountain VillaAt an altitude of 2,580 meters, it is located at the intersection of Provincial Highway 18 and Provincial Highway 21, in the upper reaches of Nanzixian Creek, Shalixian Creek and Shenmu Creek; it is also located at the intersection of the New Central Cross-Island Highway and Nanzixian Creek Forest Trail, and is a key entrance point in the northwest of Yushan National Park, near the Yushan National Park Tataka Visitor Center.

The mountain lodge is the most important and only rest point for climbers of Yushan. It is the most suitable place for climbers of Yushan to catch up on sleep and energy, and to adjust their altitude before setting off the next day to Tataka checkpoint to take a shuttle bus to the Tataka saddle trailhead to the Yushan mountain range. It is also a great place for hiking enthusiasts to listen to the sound of the pines, watch the sea of clouds, admire the sunset, and stargaze.

Our team, the Cloud Peak Mountaineering Team, is led by Mr. Wu Yu-Long, a Bunun mountaineering expert, and primarily composed of Bunun people from Xinyi Township, Nantou County. We provide accommodation and shuttle bus services. We aim to create a warm and comfortable home away from home, welcoming guests with enthusiasm. We also hold occasional mountaineering safety lectures in the evenings, showcasing a new and unprecedented approach. In the future, we plan to further develop mountaineering trips with in-depth cultural and ecological insights. We welcome young people from various indigenous groups with a strong interest in the mountaineering industry to join us.
