Tefune Kodo

The Tofuno Old Trail is 6.32 kilometers long, with one end in Zizhong and the other in Tofuno. The first 3.7 kilometers, starting from the Zizhong entrance, are flat with an elevation difference of less than 100 meters. This section still retains the Alishan-Shuishan Railway, which was used to transport Japanese red cypress and Taiwan cypress during the Japanese occupation. The railway is flanked by planted Japanese cedar forests, which are dense and are the most praised scenic spots of the Tofuno Old Trail.
